Zeeland’s Adams Elementary School Goes LEED Silver!

Congratulations to Zeeland Public Schools on achieving LEED Silver from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) for Adams Elementary School. Completed in 2012, this new facility welcomed K-5 students back for a second year earlier this fall. Many sustainable building features reinforce the district’s philosophy of creating healthy learning environments, including a mechanical system that utilizes ceiling mounted active induction beams, central dual wheel energy recovery units and heat pumps, and central horizontal geothermal field with over five miles of underground pipe.

Congratulations to Zeeland Public Schools and thank you for the opportunity!
